A Letter from our Managing Partner Nathan Nelson
Virtus Law, PLLC is doing its part to respond responsibly to the COVID-19 pandemic. Here is how we intend to honor and strengthen our commitment to you as we navigate this crisis.
The health and safety of all members and employees of our firm, and of our clients, are of paramount concern. To protect the health of our attorneys and staff, all personnel has been asked to work remotely except when client needs require otherwise. We are continuing to hold limited in-person meetings at our offices for clients or projects that require them, including estate plan closings. We have the ability to do “drive-thru” closings at some offices when needed to limit all interaction. As you know, we have invested from day one in technology to ensure that our attorneys and staff no matter their physical location can continue to serve our clients. This technology allows employees to be fully reachable and to access firm systems, while ensuring that your confidential information and our work product remain secure and protected.
We are committed to providing the strongest possible legal services to you and will continue to do so throughout these extraordinary times. Courts throughout the country are issuing orders adjusting their schedules in response to the COVID-19 health crisis and other governmental directives. We are monitoring those orders, as well as any court-specific orders/policies that might apply to cases we are handling for you. As always, we are committed to meeting all court orders and other protocols that apply to your case, while ensuring that we continue to represent you with the high level of service that you have come to expect. Our corporate and employment attorneys continue to monitor recent state quarantine regulations, sick leave statutes, and other legislative action and to provide advice and guidance to employers, employees, and independent contractors on navigating this complex and ever-changing legal environment. Feel free to follow us on social media to receive these updates. And as always, our estate planning team continues to assist both businesses and individuals with incapacity, succession, and end of life planning as needs arise.
We invite you to contact us if you have any concerns or questions about how we are responding to this crisis. We wish each of your colleagues, your family, and you continued success and good health.
